The Night a Rake Saved the Day

Years later..talking to past client.. reminiscing around our kitchen table… First time taking them out to show houses. A cold dark winter night, I asked them, do you want to take my vehicle or yours. They chose mine. I was new in the business. I could barely afford fuel. My ride was a ford pick up truck.
The last house of the night was vacant. We fiddled with the lockbox. Finally got in. Had a good look around. Locked up and walked back to the truck, just to find I locked my keys inside it.
My client opened the garage door. Found a rake and proceeded to break the wing window. We all got home safely. These clients became life long friends. A $280 fix.
Sadly Mrs client passed away s few years ago. Sadly missed, never forgotten.
